If the bitcoin block size does not increase, the current price is the maximum it will reach, even if it has limited supply.

the block size issue is something that will be solved eventually and there is no rush to do it either since the unconfirmed transactions are very small despite the fact that blocks are full. and it has nothing to do with the price at this point.

and i emphasize again there is no rush, look at ethereum and take a big lesson in rushing into changing the code for the coin.

Get a grip. ETH had only a month long deadline to deal with the DAO slacker. And in that time the Whole community pulled together with consensus to HF. Something BTC has failed to do in 3 years. Btw block size is s real issue now. Demonstrating BTC to new people they are surprised it takes 20 mins for 1 confirmation.

No comparison between the 2. Ethereum could complement and even augment bitcoin's use but it cannot replace it. Even if ETH has a higher marketcap than BTC it cannot replace it. It is like comparing apples and oranges.

You are right in saying that the coin price depends on the faith. So if the people lose faith in bitcoin , the price be be surpassed.

the faith or the interest of people in that particular altcoins comes from the code, the developers team, how it works, most important of all the usages, and features of that coin.

"if people lose faith in bitcoin" means if bitcoin stops functioning, if all those places that are accepting bitcoin suddenly decide to stop.,...
and all these are never going to happen.
