Andreas will host an AMA on 8btc 30th July.  He was known as an bitcoin and blockchain expert, author of Mastering Bitcoin.
It's fair to say that blockchain is gaining momentum among Chinese geeks.

Andreas knows how important the miner community are in China and he also knows how important the independence of the development of Bitcoin must be. It would be ignorant to ignore their importance and what they bring to the table. Let him speak with them, and get their side of the story.

We hardly get any concrete information from them, and they are one of the bigger gears in this experiment. ^hmmm^

I've skimmed through a few pages using a translator. His answers are very well written.

Some OP said that AA was an actor and expressed discontent with his position on supporting Core Dev.
http://8btc.com/thread-37138-1-1.html
That's most certainly not the case. From what I've gathered, he's not discontent with the positions and feels like that's the market's decision (to support Core).

I'll check it out later, thanks for posting that.

Did Andreas speak Mandarin or Cantonese at the event? His success with Chinese Bitcoiners isn't going to be so easy if he just expects everyone to appreciate him the same way an English speaking audience might.
