I believe he is a typical hardgainer. A friend of mine looks almost the same and she eats 4 meals a day, men size!
But she struggled to gain weight.I recommended her to drink as addition to her regular meals 2-3 carbohydrate drinks, weightgainers.And it indeed showed some effect.She was able to gain 4kg.
Vitalik's metabolism is very high in my opinion.You can compare it with V8 big block engine which needs up to 40 liter fuel for 100 km.
That guy has to eat, eat and once again eat.

As a personal note: It's disgusting that some here make fun about some other person's condition!!

You have some good points in general, but this is not one of them. I am 1.86 tall and my weight is about 80 kg., which can be considered skinny too, but I am able to beat the crap out of many people. Already did that with several guys (some of them "pumped"), which mocked with people like Buterin, because of their looks. I am frustrated on what EF did on pretty much everything, but that's not the way to criticize them.

So to all people claiming this thread is childish or even OP should be banned, what the heck?! Are you even serious. This matter is of utmost importance for investors! Some comments here may be completely unnecessary but this would make an official statement or some non fake information even more valuable. I mean just search for Vitalik Buterin on YouTube, one gets scared he drops dead while speaking. And he is a key figure for ETH, if he really dies or simply cannot work anymore because of any health condition the price will drop and maybe will not recover.

So I'm still also looking for valid information about his health. Is it likely he will be able to work for more than two to three years? Because if he has anorexia or some form of cancer which is the reason of his body shape I damn sure can say he is a gonner in at least five years (so hopefully this isn't the case, if he's simply a "hard gainer" or how others called it he may have some more years)...

Hahaha. Every time I look at his picture, I'm always thinking the same as you did. Maybe being a genius and very dedicated to work makes his health decline badly.
But I don't see any difference on his past picture and the present. One thing I notice. He looks so gay in his present picture.
