The store sell research chemicals, only legal ones. Never had any problems.
Revenue:The stores revenue is increasing every month. The revenue generated is listed below for each month:
May: $2,211.70
June: $3,861.00
July (Till 21st July): $5,389.79
The revenue could have been even higher, but due to alot of traveling this summer i missed a lot of emails or i responded to late.
Payments:We accept 3 type of payments. Credit Cards, Bitcoins and PayPal.
Credit Cards are at the moment processed through a 3rd party website, the fees are relative high (15%, but i am negotiating rates with them), but you don’t have to worry about chargebacks as your get the payment in Bitcoins. No merchant account is necesarry.
Bitcoins, using a 3rd party service, they take 1%. Again no chance for chargebacks. The bitcoins will reach your wallet within 15 minutes, after the customer paid.
PayPal – This option is strictly used for returning customers, as the risk is high. Every customer is told to send us an email from their PP email, stating they wont dispute the payment once they get the order. This has helped us fight and win every dispute (2 until now).
How do i run the business?Since the business is based on dropshipping, you will never touch the product yourself, the only thing you have to do is talk with the customers, once an order is paid, you will notify the dropshipper who will send you a tracking number within 24 hours. The dropshipper is paid once there has been shipped for $500. This agreement will be passed on to the new owner.
The backend: We have setup the backend/order processing system so it saves us from alot of emails. Every order goes into different ”states”, the customer will automaticly receive info about their order once you insert the tracking code in their order (Our customers LOVES this feature). The tracking code is also setup on a subdomain, so they will never leave the actual domain.
Actual time spent maintaining the store:Personally i have spent less than i should, i probably spent less than 1 hour a day, however i do not recommend this, this website can easy turn into a 5-figure monthly business if maintained properly and enough time is dedicated to it.
Suggestions to the new owner: - Spend more time on live chat (I offen got 3-4 orders extra a day JUST because of that)
- We started to be active on reddit and other forums, i suggest you spend triple the time there, as there is some big fish to be caught. It’s all about the reviews and ours are shining!
- If possible, ship the product from the US aswell, based on calculations, this could double or triple your revenue, as the product is shipped from Asia right now. This is not an option for me, hence the reason why i want to let the site go and let someone else grow it.
- Setup and start to send out newsletters (I can set this up for you)
Who is this site suitable for?Some skills i think is suitable to take the site to the next level:
1) Good customer support (We are way ahead competition on this point, all our reviews praise our customer service)
2) Marketing skills (Mostly forums and reddit)
3) The new owner is located in the US, for reasons listed below:
- Offer shipping from US (BIG BIG PLUS, see above under ”suggestions”)
- Offer bank wire as payment option (been asked a million times, but international wiring isn’t cost effective enough for us to offer it + the time it takes to clear isn’t worth the hassle for europeans or people outside US).

- There won’t be another seller with the same product in a subreddit that has 4500+ subscribers and increasing. This is huge, we are friends with the owner of that sub.
