What happens when someone posts illegal content on the STEEM?

Like some really shitty stuff that shouldn't be there

It would likely get a lot of downvotes from members this is I guess the only penalty I don't know if they are going to deduct your earnings or ban you,I haven't read much about illegal content only downvote stuffs

It is get downvoted by Steem police.
industry that is generally not allowed to advertize will have big interest in Steam power.

I think they ask for KYC in those cases. Centralization has its perks.

Yeah, that's what they are doing right now. The curators/users are getting praised for downvoting illegal, immoral, or copyrighted material, oh, and spam.

But just because it gets buried don't mean it's not there.

Still don't get where this content is stored?
Is it stored within the block chain or on this steem centralised website database?!

So far I haven't stumble illegal content but if there are illegal content it can downvoted but I read somewhere that downvoting is not good for your steem power,I'm still wondering will steemit become a hub of copy right content because so many members are posting and it is automatically approve without moderation..
