I know this is a good news for some. But the bad news is Ethereum classic's mining hashrate is going down. If the exchanges commit to this and list it, they should provide mining power too. It will be useless to offer this vulnerable coin for trading.

This shitcoinage is completely vulnerable and liable to double spend replay attack vectors. It's an affront to decency to suggest people invest their money in it. Also the DAO attacker is likely to dump 3.6 million ETC.

We may also see dump after both bitfinex and yunbi list etc as the only etc in the market are from the past eth holder in poloniex. But it was quite exciting to see etc price bumping hard and already 10% of eth price by now.

Agree. The liquidity provided by the two other exchanges with probably make the price dip a bit, but I don't know, I think the people are embracing the unmolested chain for ideological reasons, and most importantly, because the difficulty is shit right now on ETC. Easy to mine, and people are.buying it? We will see how this turns out

Yes I have been wondering this myself. I even think the DAO attacker is a bitcoin maximalist who is trying to prove a point. That is why my theory still stands. The attacker will convert ETC to ETH and then dump all the ETH he has for BTC.
