I attempted to withdraw 100 BTC from my account with coinbase.com last Wednesday at 2:44 pm MST.  More than 48 hours have elapsed since then.

This is the text of an email I got yesterday after my first email inquiry:

Hi,

Sorry about that! We were doing performance improvements that caused some temporary delays (posted in the status updates section here: http://j.mp/YpBYhQ), and we are still working to regenerate some transactions that went unverified. You can expect a resolution in the next 24 hours if not sooner should your transaction still show "pending" or your balance not refreshing. Again, sorry for any undue stress caused!
Regards,
Fred

Who else is experiencing these delays?  I'm not happy about this at all.  My second email about 5 hours ago remains ignored.

More than 72 hours have elapsed since my withdrawal request from Coinbase.  I still have not gotten my bitcoins.  Nor have I gotten a response to my second email.  I am not impressed with Coinbase's professionalism here.

Update:

I got a reply to my second email just now:

We plan to have all the transactions go through and be cleared up by tomorrow. Thank you for bearing with us as we try to keep up with the growth of bitcoin! If you are still having problems by Monday then please reach out to us again.

We have been working hard to re-architect our backend to keep up with growth. The demand for bitcoin recently has been amazing and the site has received a large increase in traffic. We realize it is very frustrating to have transactions stuck in a pending state. Rest assured that they will go out. This delay definitely wasn’t our intention; the growth caught us off guard and it’s been pretty embarrassing to let down our customers.

This is probably as good a time as any to mention that if you are in the SF bay area and know an awesome software engineer, we’re hiring: https://coinbase.com/jobs . As you can tell, we have no shortage of things we need to build!

Revised date for expected time of withdrawal now changed to tomorrow.

OK.  I've got two confirmations on my withdrawal from Coinbase.  Time since request for withdrawal is 3 days and 4 hours.  Coinbase, let's do better next time.
