Sooo ... your express shipping cost $34 only ? Interesting. I had to pay more than $100.

Wow I just noticed that now that you mention it... I am not sure why its $34 for express instead of the $129, it might of been the issue with the first 3 orders i placed not going through or being recognized by their system, and having to call their service people, I think it was Dave? That I spoke with verify the issue with the payment not being accepted, even after coming out of my bank account.

Yes 100%, When i sent the PayPal there was an issue clearing, between Paypal, the bank, and BFL's ordering system.

BFL assured me that its based on Date of payment not actual order numbers. Unless someone knows something I am unaware of?

I have two orders (16100 and 16252) placed and paid for on January 8th and 10th respectively. The #19xxx orders came in around beginning February.

We have mostly opened the order system so people can go in and look at their orders and can also reorder. I say "mostly" because there are still a few orders that we are working on to make them show up as they should. If you can't see your orders or if they don't seem correct to you, please let us know. Yours may be one that is still being imported or corrected, but you can check with us to see.

If you paid a month ago your place in the queue will be the same. Send us your receipt, which has a date, or if you paid with bankwire the bank tells me what day it was deposited. On bankwires the bank is very vague about who sent the money. (Another vote for BTC) IF you use an account from ABC Company, that is all they tell me. Until John Jones emails me and says I am from ABC Company and my order is still pending I don't have clue to whom that wire belongs. Email us about pending orders more than 3 days old.

Makes sense, I stand corrected. And then they went and updated the system again to include those 1000***** numbers haha

How would the sale work? I send BTC to escrow and then wait for box. Once box comes to my place - if it ever comes - you get BTC from escrow?

well if you do escrow like above id offer spot meaning the price you paided

I think you misunderstand the concept of a BFL Pre-order sale.

The unit will make a pretty large sum of BTC if it is shipped in April or May.  At current difficulty and price it will do make $3300 a week.  If difficulty doubles it is still $7000 a month.   It may come in late April, May or never.  It could make in several months of rising difficulty as much as $20,000 or as little as nothing if it does not deliver.

The seller is most probably attempting to offload that risk or attempting to get the funds sooner  If you do an escrow he is no longer offloading that risk and he is not getting his funds sooner.  Unless you pay great portion of the expected return that is a pretty bad deal for them.

Now by paying for it early and taking the risk, you should get a reward of  lower price.  What price is the question!!  $5000?  $10000?  But unless a seller things they will never deliver, selling below the list price ($2500? $3000) is just plain silly.

It appears sales for the regular SC have been made in the $9000 range for early orders.
