Why ''Pokemon Go'' becomes so crazy now!?

I honestly see with the how poorly Niantic supports the playerbase via communication and their track record of taking forever to update small things (Ingress), sadly Pokemon Go probably won't maintain the levle of popularity it currently has. I am currently addicted to the game, but am getting very frustrated with how the company is handling the game.

The only reason it's popular is because of the franchise, and it introduced many people to augmented reality games.  The brainless masses don't care (or even know that) pokemon GO pretty much ripped off Ingress' code and painted over it with new skins (but added pokemon / pokemon catching).

Always hilarious when people go crazy over something 'new' while the rest of us have been playing with the underlying tech for years...

The game itself is a steaming pile of shit, and a disgrace to the Pokemon games which came before it - you can't even level up your monsters, or battle other players in real time, or trade, or do any of the thousands of things that made the original game boy games so addicting...

I always saw people playing Pokémon. The players are addicted to this game. Kids and even adults are playing this. This game looks good but many negative effects on your everyday life. This game could lead you to accident causing death if youre not aware on your environment especially for kids coz theyre careless and not aware on surroundings.

I think this game will last quite a long time as I believe more features will be added to keep players attracted in the future

Why would you say pokemon becomes crazy now? When I was a kid and the old pokemon came out for a gamboy it was almost the same. Of course older people had no gameboy and therefore no access to the game but now with everybody having a smartphone. The access to the game is very easy. The game is just so addictive.

its a bit silly but the idea is greate, theres so much shit going on in the world and if a game can make people forget about it for a while it's great. there are more serious shit to complain about.

Because, it give us a new way to play a game. In the world which people are not have high exercise, they just sit in front of monitor and play a game, only their fingers are moving, this game force us to have exercise by walk. Besides the name of "Pokemon" already has their own costumer or fans, this game actually is a pokemon gamers dream. They can act like a trainer, catch monster, grow them and even make a battle request to another player. It realisation the virtual activity in pokemon game.

it is because it is mainstream now, everyone plays it, even if they don't like pokemons they still play it because it is global trend right now and people follows trends a lot

Mass psychosis in people over the game in the Pokemon has become a cause for concern authorities. There is a conversation to start banning the game in some areas. Most likely the time will come when the Pokemon is outlawed.
