Please suggest me a better card .

Not for mining Its for gaming .

I saw that 1060 is low in performance as compare to 970
But 1060 is the latest version and may give better benchmarks in newer games?

Can you afford GTX 1080? Cheesy Also, 970 series is nowhere close to 1060 series. 970 will get a score of 77 while 1060 of 81

Well personally i really dont like the design of EVGA gta 1060,
Plus in my country 1060 will cost me like 320$ .

And i see no much difference between both cards,
I am getting EVGA gtx 970 for around 280$

If it is for gaming I would recommend 1060. Even though the performance might seem the same as 970. Wait a few driver updates and compare then again. I would always go with the newest series.

I would have to say that the 1060 is your better bet.  The difference is going to be the price for your decision, but if you can afford it, then you would want to make sure that you go with the 1060.  If you are worried about money, you may want to go with the 970.  Good luck.

If it's not for mining then why post this here on a bitcoin forum?
This should of been on a gaming forum where you have experienced gamers giving you advice on which one you should get.
The advise you received are from bitcoiners who only know their craft in mining.  Cheesy

So which one is better for mining?
I actually have a choice to get a used 970 for $300 too and the 1060 seems to be just a waste of money since I do not game.

Try to find the answer in other sites, maybe somebody already tested both of them.
