Didn't use my account on that exchange, its just that i don't find the site to have a lot of users.
Not sure which of them were created the first cex.io or ccex.com, what are some advantages of using cex.io by the way?

Hello, I want to join CEX.io for exchanging some of my bitcoins to dollars and to withdraw them via my bank ATM card, do you have any experience at there? please I need your guidance.

CEX.IO has been around for a very long time and has been giving service to a lot of people and i have never seen anybody complaining. although the time it takes for them to verify your identity and your account to let you work with fiat is a little long but that is a necessary time that exists everywhere. but do your own research, use google to find more reviews about them, i haven't used them recently.

also don't listen to people like my above comment saying use yobit, they are just spamming their signature. yobit is the worst exchange that you can ever use. with a simple search you can find a lot of complains.

I started on CEX.io not too long ago. It is the only/easiest exchange i could use to get my USD turned into BTC. I am able to send from PayPal > PayPal PrePaid MasterCard > CEX.io for 3.5% i believe. If i ass $20 USD in to CEX.io It only cost me about $21.50 (give or take) but thats a rough example. I started with $20 with at the time was about .02 BTC and with CEX.io I was able to "Buy and Sell" Trade upto about .04, then I Started margin trading Bitcoin on there and got to about .06 BTC (all within a month, for a brand new beginner) Then I went BTC to LTC and arbitraged the LTC to BTC-e when it was profitable at any given day or time, and then bought back to bitcoin, and Sent it from BTC-e to Poloniex. My main trading place now. Its easier to make money (or lose) on smaller valued Alt Coins, with more market movement.

I cannot use Tether.io for other Exchanges, so really my only way to buy BTC is throught CEX.io....

for me, cex.io is simple market trading, clean and easy to trading even for newbie. i've been almost 6 month with them, beside i am mining with them on separate website which is ghash.io, and after i've got some in mining, then i've sold btc or litecoin if the rate is good, if not, i'll hold it.

but unfortunately, the minimum on cex.io is higher than other market, and this is what i don't like. for rate, i think its not different than other market trading.

I am seeing that exchange from a longer time around here, and there is no any complaint against that exchange and I have never saw any issue about that exchange, if you want to use that exchange then you can use it without any fear, and is withdrawal to card is much better as it has much lowest price for Card withdrawals.

It's easy with c-cex. But their webinterface is one of the most ugly on the market. The same level as yobit.
But i trust them more then yobit, but no way that I would hold more then .10 btc there. There is no address so they can run just as easy as yobit.

cex.io minimum was very low a long time ago (it was like 1 satoshi or something like that) they increased it one day and i don't know why! i used to use them back then.

and about c-cex, their interface is good enough. it may not be the best out there but it is still decent. and you should never compare them with yobit, c-cex owner (staff?) is always present and answering to users questions here and answering to tickets. something that is absent at yobit.

Cex.io can be trusted, it were long ago in the business since difficulty of bitcoin increase they stop cloud mining service. But until right now cex.io is still trustworthy, there are not problem on their service.

I think the OP is asking about cex.io not about c-cex. and the other point is that c-cex is much better than yobit , Yobit now need to improve its technology and have to hire expert developers, it has a lt of issue which they are trying to fix but take longer time.

Yeaa , I love their design make me comfortable to trade there.
I was used cex.io since long time ago , if I remember correctly in mid 2014 when they still have a profitable cloudmining.
So far never experienced any bad issues and I agree cex.io the best and newbie friendly site.

I think you should have to join that site for your withdrawal to your credit card as it is a more smooth site and there you will not face any issue for your selling of coins and for transferring them to your credit card.

Your info is much beneficial for me, the fees are much lower, I also will like to adopt it, but first I will like to know that in how much time will I get my money into my credit/debit card?

A few months ago, I have requested my withdrawal from another payment processor to my debit card, they sent me the money to my debit card within 24 hours, but my bank hold them for about 20 days, and I received my money after 20 days to my account (card)

So in that case it will also depend on your bank, that for how much time your bank hold your money with them.

By the way Cex.io look a superb service with card withdrawal with lowest fees.

 Embarrassed Huh

It was fine until I tried to Withdraw some USD. I paid $50 to withdraw a few $000's. 1 day later the status changed to 'Bank Transfer Completed'. Ok, great. I log into my bank account and no sign of the money and no pending transactions!

I opened a chat support call (that was good to see) and was told it takes upto......20 banking days...20 banking days ladies and gentlemen!

Here's the transcript:

longCrypto
How do I view the full details of a Bank Transfer/Withdrawl?
Chat started
David joined the chat

longCrypto
Hi

David
please be informed that you cannot view the mentioned details
Our Development team regularly checks the support forums for new ideas and suggestions from our community. If you have a feature suggestion - please post it here:
https://support.cex.io/hc/communities/public/topics/200082417-Feature-Requests

longCrypto
What? Seriously!
Why is that?

David
your withdrawal was completed from our side, funds were sent

longCrypto
Well my withdrawl says 'Bank Transfer Completed' but my receiving bank says their are no pending transactions, so what is the status of my transfer?

David
it might take up to 20 banking (working) days

longCrypto
So where is the money during these 20 banking days if you do not have it?

David
funds are being transferred to your account
you do not have to worry, it is impossible to lose the track of your funds, in modern banking system

longCrypto
David, you haven't answered my question. Do you have my money and if not, who does?

David
your funds were sent to your bank account
let me make an analogy for you
we've sent you a letter, but you still have not received it, basically it's "on the way"
if you want, we can escalate your request to our finance department, so they can provide you with the transaction details

longCrypto
I work in finance so I know it is always actually held by some entity. It is never 'on the road' or something similar. The moment it debits one account it credits another. So yes, please do escalate it so I can be informed of it's where abouts and the route it is going to take over the next 20 days. Thanks
20 banking days even.

David
We have escalated your request to our finance team and you will be contacted with a resolution as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience in advance.

longCrypto
David, thanks for that. Do those 'transaction details' include where my money is? What payment bank current has my money and/or is dealing with the payment? This message never got through, the chat tool just said '...Reconnecting' i.e. David had already disconnected.
