I am already waiting 1 month for their Card verification.
They  ask me for patience...always
I dont trust them, cex.io make me felt sucks, and unreliable.

No major problems so far. Weaknesses I realized:

1. Extra long fiat deposit/withdrawal times (with the exception of card payments, which don't take much time, at least according to my experience with small amounts)

2. No stop-loss options; so you either have to close your positions before going to bed, or lose sleep over it in a volatile market.

Other than that my experience has been pretty good. Coin transfers are fine, phone app is very convenient.

Overall, a good exchange

I'm not satisfied with cex at all. I sent the money via bank transfer over a week ago and it still hasn't arrived even though it says 1-3 days on their site. The only replies I ever got from them were automatic generic responses "We are working on it", even though there is nothing to work on.

My recommendation, do not use cex.io, I don't know about other sites but surely there are sites better than that.

It's over now, you sent the money back saying it has to be bank account with the same name as on the CEX site. It did take a few days and several emails, though. Sigh.

Money did not come. They write that the money was sent, but they can not give the swift number

Round 1 of verification with CEX took a long time, 3 weeks or so, but they finally got me verified, so I was able to trade with them. Once I finally got verified - and this was a huge pain in the arsh -  I was trading for  a month all good no problem, using CryptoCapital for withdrawals/deposits. I was pretty happy, I was doing lots of arbitrage through CEX.

Then sometime in July I deposited BTC into CEX and they froze my deposits, and they're still pending. They say I need to update KYC/verification. I sent them all the necessary verification including payment stubs, bank statements, exchange screenshots. It's been almost a month, and the verification process still going and my BTC are still stuck! I can't withdraw them, they just show up as pending 3 confirmations, but are not credited!!  I was verified before and been trading with them with decent volume, and all a sudden they slap me with additional KYC. I understand, I complied, and sent them everything they ask for.

I was trading close to $100k a month for them! AND THIS IS how they treat me?!

I understand if they have a backlog, cool. Take your time if you have to, but why the heck you gotta hold my Bitcoins for almost a month approaching!!!!? Give them back to me!!!!

It's digital currency! Not like it's fiat money - my understanding KYC applies mostly to $$$ & €€€. I've waited patiently enough already, now turning to public forums. Thanks CEX!

My experience is that using CryptoCapital as an intermediary for withdrawals has been pretty good. Usually takes 2-3 days for CEX to credit the CryptoCapital withdrawals. But still, once they're in CryptoCapital, I can get it out of Crypto Capital decently fast.

Based on what I"ve seen in the forums, don't use SEPA or Wire transfers, as those take a long time, it seems. Crypto Capital the way to go.. Giving out Trade Secrets haha.

I like CEX, but this verification baloney is absurd. Give me back my Bitcoins, then take all the time you need to verify.

BTC deposits has been stuck since July 14th, not credited. No joke!
And I don't even know if I'll be getting Bitcoin Cash since they were "pending". I damn well better be.

Yes, I'm upset, hopefully reasonably upset. I understand if you gotta do verification, but give me back my bitcoins first and then continue on your verification however long you need.

Thanks though for taking care of it!

I finally got the Bitcoins unfrozen. Finally. I wish I didn't have to go public, but after nearly a month, I had no choice.

Still, I was not credited the 5.5 BCH (Bitcoin Cash). I will reach out to support further.

i'am a verified member on cex.io - so there is my story from last 2 transactions...

1.time: withdrawal to my sepa account took almost 2 Month and 6 Mails…

2.time: btc is not booked to my account(pending deposit…) on blockchain it was booked hours ago. BTC price went down and i lost 200€ in exchange price. 3 Day's later the btc are still not deposited...and i will demand on compensation.


My Conclusion: Cex.io is going to be dead and meaningless in Future, if they dont change their mind of how transactions should run.

Totally disgusted with CEX.IO

I have been locked out of my account for a week now with open orders.

The Google 2FA token is always invalid with CEX.IO. Works perfectly on all other exchanges/sites.  Even set up on a second device with the barcode originally issued by CEX.IO and the codes on both devices match.

Received an auto generated email requesting info from me so they can disable 2FA, send the info by return.  Then no action/help for a week now.

CEX.IO is a good platform when all is well, but when things go wrong and you need help from support, the help is non-existent.

In case anyone from CEX.IO reads this the ticket/request number is 329642

I have mailed you several Times. No reaction. No solution.
If btc is not released during this week i have to go to my lawyard.
As i already wrote i demand on a compensation of loss(i informed you to release the btc and told my intention to sold my currency when it was @ ~4000€) and credit the loss in EUR (€) to my account. The Loss is based on current exchange when you release the transaction.

everywhere works only cex started to give error yesterday 2fa google authenticator error Sad How will we solve the problem?
