New to bitcoins and some of the hardware/software used

I can log in to the web interface and have configured the Miner
I see where the devices should be I see a message stating

No devices running

I have Mine peon installed equipment used is as follows.

Raspberry Pi b
a Sabrent 13 Port High Speed USB 2.0 Hub with Power Adapter And 2 Control Switches (HB-U14P)
7 ASIC Bitcoin Miner Block Erupter USB 330MH/s BTC USB

Software
Mine peon 0.2.4.6
BitMinter Pool

Testing I have done
Formatted drive and reinstalled (2 times)
Ping inside and out from Raspberry pi
Pulled all but 1 of the USB Miners ( no change)
Put USB miner directly to the pi  ( no change)
rebooted /restarted miner several times

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks !!

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Thanks

I thought it was the Newbie forum.

This started out as a little something to use my Pi for and maybe make a little change.

So what would be a good setup for mining ?

I will re post  to the Newbie Forum

The hash speed is terrible , thats what im saying yo can make more btc per day from a faucet site than with your usb minersm they are too old and slow, take that in mind

So you purchased 7 block erupters and a hub to use with a rasp pi?
Well I am sorry you did this.
I wish you would have asked us about purchasing the gear first rather then buying old really power hungry gear.  Newer sticks like the compac made by sidehack are 30x the hash power .

So 7 sticks of his would do 60 to 100 gh vs the 2 gh you do.

My question is what did you pay for this gear?
