So I'm speaking to you now from a very shaky internet connection, I'm sure anyone from the UK will immediately know how bad Virgin Media is when it comes to their Broadband but the damn thing just decided to die on me as we got a ton of snow here ( Yes, at the end of March I know ) engineer is on the way on Sunday but fuck me it's annoying. While they have gotten better with their support since I didn't have to argue with the moron on the other end of the phone in order to convince him we had nothing to do with the connection going down they still have the same problems going on after all this time.
Turns out our stupid box developed a fault, something Virgin Media is already notorious for really, I'm glad the internet is at least partially working so I can go on forums and stuff but ARGH so bored! I have work to do and money to make
When I move out I'm staying the hell away from Virgin Media.
I'm with virgin media and got a great deal once I said I wanted to leave them and switch to sky broadband. There is a 30day leaving period in which time they will phone you with a counter offer. I canceled everything besides the broadband and got a really good deal (I think I refused the first counter offer, but they phoned with a better deal). I also mentioned to them that it would still benifit me to switch to sky as I would get £80 cash back via ref link:
