I just had a look through and it seems quite comprehensive for anyone whos wanting to jump into mining, I was half thinking of picking up a couple of 480s if ETC decides not to go POS, Maybe i could try the R7-370 if it was more cost effective. I noticed a lot of you guide is focused on pool mining though, Is there somewhere in their that describes how to solo mine? Some may prefer this although maybe not as easy as pool mining.

Assuming you're the site owner (based on your handle), instead of listing 2 mining gears, maybe you can improve the section with more choices/ selection of supported GPUs?

Like compare and contrast their TDP, MH/s, rate of ROI, etc. for mining ETC, at least newcomers will know what to expect should they intend to invest on those gears! Wink

Great site btw!

solo mining with one R7 370 won't be profitably

I don't think solo mining is a good thing. Maybe try to join pools as it may bring you more ETC. Is mining ETC profitable now ? Sorry I was a bitcoin fan. And if so, how ?

solo mining is good if you have a large enough hashrate or the gear might end up running for a looong time before finding a block!
also for all your "is * mining profitable" questions you can always refer to http://whattomine.com; its the most comprehensive list out there.

Assuming you're the site owner (based on your handle), instead of listing 2 mining gears, maybe you can improve the section with more choices/ selection of supported GPUs?
-snip-

op i agree with the above statement; except i think you shouldn't spend time on doing so;
imo express clearly the mechanics of gpu mining & the required hardware for a mining rig,
then refer people to www.mininghwcomparison.com so they can decide which gpu will suit their needs best!

one last suggestion;
do include a comprehensive list of all the different mining softwares & methods with links. (eg ethos, claymore's dual miner, genoli & so on)

ps.
i have numerous r7 370s, with the current dag epoch, even when they're over clocked to the max, their hashrate is sth like 14.8mhs;
17mhs per r7 370 days are looong gone & you should know that well!
please be truthful with what you post on your site!
