Can anyone suggest such a service? Gyft and Egifter refuses to sell them to me, probably because I have a non-US IP, and Cryfter is out of stock. With the rest of the services I have found the chance that I get codes bought using stolen credit cards is too high. I suppose I could try Gyft and Egifter with a VPN, but it seems a bit much hassle.

From my experience nearly everyone that sells gift cards stole them and I wouldn't be comfortable to buy them pretty much anywhere.
I also think like you that the easiest way would be to use a US VPN, but you would still be breaking the TOS.

If you can find international affiliates running Amazon associates program you can buy gift cards from them. Amazon can pay their affiliates via gift cards and I'm pretty sure these affiliates would go that route if they can get a buyer. Waiting for checks take forever.

I often use this site and they give 15%, even though sometimes their service is really slow.
I can confirm this service was legit when i buy amazon gift card a month ago.
I doubt they are legit with that kind of discount, and there's also his negative feedback on Localbitcoins.

My guess is that he is (re)selling gift cards bought using stolen credit cards, selling the same codes multiple times and/or laundering money. Amazon does not seem to withdraw money from your account but they may cancel the GC if you don't redeem it quickly.

have you checked out the marketplace yet?
i have seen people who were selling Amazon Gift Cards on digital goods board here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

although it is a bit risky but you can sometimes find some reputable sellers there too and you should always use escrow. and many of them are earning these gift cards by doing micro jobs so you don't have to worry about stolen credit card problem.

Use egifter + hola extension for Chrome.

Works flawlessly and you get your credit card instantly, with no problems, and no need to use escrow and have the risk of being scammed

I tested it yesterday and will do it again.
