How long to wait to transfer money to mtGox with LR USD? i wait 2 hours Huh

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It could be because its a weekend. If it doesn't turn up in a few hours don't panic, wait until Monday or even Tuesday and then contact MtGox and/or LR about the transfer. I've had LR transfers take as long as 2 days before.

Mine was requested online at the bank on Monday, left account Tuesday, arrived in MT Gox account on Sunday at 3am. So 3 business days, 5 actual days. Note: this was a SEPA transfer in EUR, originating from the UK.

Exactly the same for me.....

SEPA Transferred euros from my UK online account to their french account on tuesday, received an email from MT Gox early hours of this morning say my US$ where now waiting.
Glad it wasn't any sooner as I might have been tempted to buy when the price was still high.

The official stance is 48 hours. Only after that, they will look into it.
