Are you solominig or do you have a pool?
You have to point them to a stratum server.

Then you should see your miner in the pool stats

I'm mining in Coinotron ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.0.8.zip

and starts like this:

mining_proxy.exe -o coinotron.com -p 3345
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/username.workername:workerpassword
