Idea: Bitcoin Campaign to show stores and merchants how to accept bitcoin

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a PR style campaign to organize, and produce mail-outs that could be sent to businesses on WHY they need to be accepting bitcoin for their businesses... I think with just a little bit of effort, we could get a snow-ball effect going and you'll start seeing the bitcoin logo right next to visa and mastarcard when you're out and about.... We could produce a simple flyer with really easy instructions as well as ways to find out more.. It could be done as a non-profit kinda thing


Any interest in this?

I'd be interested in purchasing/distributing such flyers where I live. Would love to get some local businesses accepting bitcoin.

Was also considering starting a bitcoin meetup to help introduce people to how to get started and create some excitement for it locally.

I am currently working on getting Bitcoin excepted in an IGA ( Independent Grosses Of Australia) And Thirsty camel bottle shop In Victoria. This will be put in place within the next 6 months as I have close friends who own the stores.
When I have this up and working I will take my bitcoin payment system to other merchants. We are working on a few big projects for bitcoin and will see it's use grow hugely in the near future.
