Hard to say crypto vs Fiat, Fiat is the currencies used overall in the world, Regardless of the specific currency, Crypto's are just starting to move and gaining ground, I don't think it's fair to even starting to compare both of them just yet.

Well those people here who just earned bitcoin in such a less effort way thinks too much to the point that their thinking is to compare crypto and fiat.

They didn't realize what will happen if bitcoin is the only financial institution alive in the globe.

I see crypto as the future, the way the current fiat system will moove, digital transactions, and no more printed money. The current system of fiat is very manipuladed by countries, they control all the money and if they facing problems they print more money, something they are against when bad guys tries to make the same, print money is and will be always a problem. With crypto you can set a limit of money circulating, and maybe if need put some fresh coins over years.

That's right, it's very hard to compare that and like would you wanna to compare major and minor? if there are having a different usefulness and that very completely supporting one and another.

Crypto and fiat have their own purpose and therefore crypto cant replace fiat and vice versa. Todays we can use crypto as payment method for online or offline activities, but crypto still has a lack especially bitcoin, due to the confirmation time.

Actually I have no problem with the confirmation in using bitcoin because I see it fast, and what matters to me is not really the confirmation but the amount of service fee I can save in using bitcoin in transaction. I am thankful I discover bitcoin and now I share it with my family to attract them to also use it.

Crpyto and Fiat is only comparable in terms that they are both currencies. And that's just about it.
But generally, we can not simply compare crypto and fiat since with crypto, it can be considered and investment and you can not consider fiat the same way as value fluctuations are very low with them only forex kind of trading is possible with them. This must be one of the prime reason that many people are loving crypto.

that's probably because you're not a busy person or i can say having quite much free times so it doesn't matter to you, just imagine when something force you to having or paying things in few minutes and you need to wait the confirmation,it's sure a problem

can you explain what exactly you mean with using crypto for offline activities? if you want to send out coins from point a to point b, then you will need an internet connection in order to push your transaction to the network.

I don't know if this thread has been created before, but I would like to know your opinion on Cryptocurrency versus Fiat.

If you could tell me why too. What are the benefit of each?  Smiley

Actually both are versus with each other, i mean both are valuable in their own place. Now it is a time of computer and laptop so mostly people refer to use online investment and trading. So those kind of people are prefer to bitcoins. But it doesn't mean that we ignore the fiat currency. Fiat currency is a part of our life and we use it anywhere without any problem and many people want to do business with fiat currency even they have no interest in Bitcoins and other crypto currencies.
You are absolutely right, both fiat and crypto coins have their own advantages in their own world. We can not live without fiat money as we use it everyday and everywhere to keep us alive and it has become a major and important part of our life.

However, cryptocurrencies have a lot of uses and the potential of these kind of money is pretty high so it has become more and more popular and to some people, it’s their main income.

I read stories about that too here in this forum. Making a living with crypto currencies. I dont know much how they do that but I think it is with trading and some with mining. I saw a picture of a guy with all his mining equipment and I think it is way too expensive. So in mining, it takes a lot of capital before getting all that back and future profits. I would rather stick with trading.   Grin

You can't know for sure that that's the prime reason that people love crypto, those price fluctiations could be quite detrimental to anyone trying to run a business and accepting crypto.
People love crypto for different reasons, and without looking at proper research, it's impossible to know what the majority really thinks.

Today, fiat are generally accepted, while cryptos are not. On the other hand, cryptos have some good properties as well, so they are not perfect substitutes.

Fiat was/is accepted since it was forced unto (luckily) by government. Any other currency needs selling points. And bitcoin has plenty of them. It's faster and cheaper to use.
What must be said though, marketing wise a step must be made.

Bitcoin advantages are:

Decentralized
Storing money outside banks
Sending money in a matter of seconds
Really small fees
Great currency for online payments
Blockchain that can be used for various purposes

Fiat advantages are:

well . crypto is to much new camparing to fiat so there is no fair campareness between fiat and crypto as you said. but fiat is increasing very fast and after seeing the growth of fiat I can se it will cover the whole web industry one day.
