Hello all, I was wondering if someone can help me with a problem I'm having by claiming my ANS from the 2nd ICO.

I'm in the hero list here:

https://www.antshares.org/en-US/ICO/HeroList

I'm going to https://www.antshares.org/ICO/ and click to "Query Investment / Get ANS" and I put there the Antshares address I got from the ICO and then I put the private key (the key I got from the ICO too) to the input box and then click the "Confirm to get ANS" button, I accept the pop up and then appears a message that says: "ANS will be sent to your antshares address after some time on mainnet has been launched."

I don't know if I'm doing this steps the right way, but then in the Windows client after creating a wallet database from the pop up menu under Wallet I right click and select Import private key > Import from WIF and I add the same private key I put before (the key I got from the ICO).

Now what? Am I doing something wrong?

I also tried to put at the ICO query page the private key from a newly created address using the windows client (Although it makes no sense to me) but then says "Error: antshares address not found". I guess anyone could claim my ANS knowing my public key if it worked that way.

Also another weird thing is that at antcha.in always throws an error 404 when I search for my addresses (public ones) the generated with the windows client and the ICO one.

Can someone shed some light on it please?

Did you check under assets? That's where the coins will show up.

Yes ofc, sorry that I've not mentioned that in my previous post. But after reconstruct the wallet database, deleting the windows client folder and downloading again the blockchain, the assets tab is empty.

After reading this I'm thinking that maybe it tooks some time, I claimed the ANS about 6~8 hours ago:

How long roughly did it take for everyone else to get their ANS after inputting the private key on the site and confirming?

I think you are right. You need to wait a bit and then ANS will appear in you wallet

Open wallet>Transaction>Transfer. A window will pop open with a + symbol in the lower left corner. Click on that. From there select Asset: (Antshares), Pay To:(receiving address) and then the amount. Click Confirm to complete transaction.

The problem I encounter though is that the wallet is too slow to sync. Is there an online wallet instead? i will directly sent my ans to the exchange instead. Seem like wallets are not what the team is has put an effort to simply developed.

Are there users trading on bittrex already?

Desktop is about 5 mins max. ( on xfinity 50mb/s )
Get better internet and quick dial-up already,

Ok, so I sent 5 Antshares over to Bittrex to test if it worked and it did, I have received the 5 ANS in my bittrex wallet. Now I try to send the amount I want to have on Bitttrex to trade and it is saying my balance is 1 (in the transfer box) but on my PC wallet I have several  thousands ANS left and it shows in my wallet balance... Now when I try to send a few thousand over to Trex it's saying not enough is in my wallet but it's clearly there. Anyone else having this issue.

try rebuilding your wallet

Now it's not showing any balance... do I have to wait for the height to catch up?

After I Downloaded and updated wallet the balance came back up and got everything working and transfers went through just fine.
