Hi,

I am farily new to bitcoins and have bought a few bitcoins from various uk sites before... but none yet that are fast. I find I have to buy them in advance of using them, not when I want to spend..., I have found this site www.speedybitcoin.co.uk which claims to be "almost instance" and reckons you can get bitcoins in minutes after sending money... Has anyone tried this site? and can rate how well it works?

          We're faster and generally cheaper We do support SEPA - its not instant though since we're in the UK. SEPA is within 24 hours, but can be a lot less. However the OP should be able to deposit and receive BTC in as little as 5 minutes after registering!

I have signed up with speedybitcoin but I have to verify for allowing more money, and site does not say how long this will take... hopefully tommorrow..

http://blockchain.info - automatically, instantly.

http://bitbargain.co.uk - manually, almost instantly - takes a few minutes for seller to check bank account and release. And there are no limits by the system, each seller set his own limits. 100 coins has been sold in one transaction so far. Also you don't need to verify even your email, if seller doesn't set it as required. So trade can take a few minutes from start to finish.

http://LocalBitcoins.com - similar as bitbargain. The only verification you need - your email. Sellers set their maximum amount for a first time buyer, and it increases after first successful trade.


Plz, note - some banks (especially HSBC) doesn't support instant transfers.

I tend to use Blockchain.info and their PingIt service. VERY quick! Almost instant. They tend to run out of Bitcoins quickly though.

I recieved verify email by the time i woke up the on sunday For SpeedyBitcoin!!. I have also registered with Bitbargain, but so far I have had success with speedy bitcoin site.

I can now get bitcoins in my wallet in a few minutes just using my lloyds tsb banking phone app, I dont even have to login to the speedybitcoin website to get more .. although it would be nice if there was also a phone app.. to check my history.. my problem with this site is I have used up my limit quickly so I may have to use both Bitbargain and speedy bitcoin on days I run out of the limit..

is it possible to get a larger limit on this site?
