The worst decision I is not buying when the price is still low bitcoin
If you don't buy right now, at this moment, you will say that exact same thing a year or two from now. That's a loop that a lot of people are stuck in. In the future, if you don't buy at that moment too, you will regret it again after a year or two.

Bitcoin's price will always increase over time because of the halving, new investors joining, more and more companies are starting to accept Bitcoin, and more and more people are starting to like using Bitcoin. So invest now, or you'll regret it again later.

Yes this is the right time to buy bitcoins as price is relatively lower and in future when we will see new investors and big companies getting into it which will take price to higher level.

The worst decision I is not buying when the price is still low bitcoin

While your worst decision was not buying it at lower price, my worst decision is when I sold my bitcoin at lower price(200usd). At that time, I thought bitcoin price wont up again and I got only small information about bitcoin.

Yeah even I sold when the price was $250 last year and still regretting, if I would have not sold at that time then I would be enjoying best profits at this stage and that was really a worst decision.

Hi, all. I know that everyone here would have made some terrible decision about BTC. So I was wondering, what is the worst decision that you have ever made.

Personally, my worst decision was gambling 1.3 BTC in dice, just yesterday. Smiley

Compared to yours, my losses are nothing, losing 1.3 btc in just a single day is really a bad feeling, i saw someone crying around somewhere in the forum for losing something similar to yours and wishing to kill himself.
Well my mistakes were always investing in hyips which never turned out to be good obviously, though i did not lose much but according to what i used to earn that time it was a lot for me.
And that's why you shouldn't invest in HYIP's, even if they pay out a couple of times, you will probably lose in the long run.
Plus you're enabling them to scam other people too.

Hyip's will pay you at initial stage to gain trust from you, and you will try to invest higher amount to get higher profits but then those sites will simply disappear with your investments.
It's just for gaining the trust and reputation but at the same time if you already believe with them and you will teach your close people about that and another impact you will plunge your close people to joining with them and losing their fund's because of you.
Yes HYIP sites pay in starting so that they start getting more and more investment from users as people spread among each other that they got paid by the site. I think the best way ( if any and I personally advice don't ever use HYIPS ) is to invest in early stage and then screen out as soon as possible and as soon as you got some profits.

My biggest mistakes were putting bitcoin into altcoins and then getting emotionally attached to the coins.

The result was not selling at the top and holding (and buying more) at the bottom, only for the coins to stay stuck at the bottom and having the developpers leave.

Lesson learned, follow the volume.

Damn, worst decision is gambling, how easy to predict. You was right, and lucky too, stop when it's just 1.3 bitcoin. I have just read a comment of a Hero member said it takes 2 years for him to earn that amount of bitcoin.

The worst would be not starting up soon after my friend introduced bitcoins to me.  I was not convinced on how she presented it to me.  I have so many questions before and then the time comes that I needed an extra money.  So I am here now.  But if I started before I could have more bitcoins now.

It's ok dude because for me even if it is too late you still manage to make a good decision which can improve your life. If you did not decide to try bitcoin then i think for me that was the worst decision in life you would ever made.

Many worst decisions made in the past, investing in doubler/ponzi/hyip/gambling which took away all my savings and left with nothing in my hands, so now I prefer to stay away from those things.

That happens with everyone at first even happened with me too, and you know what is the thing that hurts the most that time? That you lose the coins you earned after many days of hardwork of faucets or small tasks.

Its not worth decision about btc when you lose that coins on gambling. You would lose anything there, even a car or a house. So for me there is no worst decision with bitcoins, everything is going just good. I`m learning about things, and for each lesson I need to pay. Doesn't matter if its on gambling, trading, investing in some service, or casino bankroll, when we lose its price that I pay for learning.
I didn't make to many mistakes, except that I should read more carefully about affiliate programs before, I didn't know nothing about it and cause of that I'm on loss some good money I think. But again its about something else, I don't think this decision have anything with bitcoins, its my fault that I would made even with real money, its cause I didn't have experience like I have now.

Investing more than one bitcoin to an HYIP site in which I am not aware of that it's a scam because too many people are saying that it's legit and it's been existing for so long so it can really be trusted. The returns are too good to be true but I still invested because they have proofs that it really is paying so I bought bitcoin with my hard earned money and invested it there and after about more than one month the site is inaccessible and then they disappear. I only got half of my investment back and promise myself never again to invest in an HYIP site.

My personal worst decision using Bitcoin was using it to invest in a HYIP site that became SCAM after several weeks without getting my Initial Investment back. I only got 1/4 of my investment and it was Big enough that i collect that Bitcoin for several months in trading but end up losing everything.

You are now telling us that because you knew exactly how bitcoin price was changing. But how about the future?
Next year BTC could be $1000 but you still won't buy it now. Because you simply won't trust in positive prediction.

Well you still can buy it for the "lower price" considering that it will probably jump a lot higher in the next few years. Wink

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

Don't feel bad man. It's normal that you at some point secure profits, if that was in fact your reason to sell. If I kept the coins that I had back in the days..... I would comfortable sit in the 6 figure value right now. And I didn't even mention what I would be when the price would be over $1200 back in 2013. Tongue

I also lost some coins in alt coin trading as I didn't knew when to sell them and kept on holding them till they become almost dead. But luckily it wasn't a big investment
