Its more of a gate then a barrier. And the value fluctuates past this. It'd be interesting if the price does fall to $600 and would mean the price is beginning to settle after the halving!

I think and hope the $600 level will hold. I don't see much reason for the price to fall down to such levels. Everything is the same as before, except that the halving has taken place. People for once need to stop panicking for nothing. Keep holding and nothing will happen. Don't feed the whales.

If it drops to 600 or less I will buy like a mofo...... No, you won't. Because you will know the price has further to fall down. At this rate, we will see $450 by end of August. Bitcoin has a nasty habit of dropping like stone after a bull run. |

The price is still playing a little over $600 but the chances of this actually dropping below is high since the value has been slipping down since last week. |

I wonder what's going on, is there any exchange site that suddenly stopped operations or maybe another big announcement made by one of the Bitcoin developers or owners of those top sites. Any observation guys or anything out of the ordinary happening?

That was fast from $610 2 hours ago now it's down $595 at preev. I wonder what's going on, is there any exchange site that suddenly stopped operations or maybe another big announcement made by one of the Bitcoin developers or owners of those top sites. Any observation guys or anything out of the ordinary happening?
It's already $588 on coinbase and it might actually drop even further. |

Wooot! It's buy time, that's the way I'm looking at it. If you believe in bitcoin, there really is no other way of looking at it. If you're a short-term speculator who bought when we were at 700, your hosed. But I'm sure most of us here are bitcoin bulls, right?

It's already $588 on coinbase and it might actually drop even further. Judging from past history, no one knows where will the price go. We might drop to 550, or stay at 600, maybe even recover to 630. No one can predict for sure. |

I am sure I am not the only one surprised that the price has been going down lately. Now that the price is nearing my target, I would like to see it drop a little more and then see where it goes from there. Although I thought the $600 support was strong, I guess with bitcoin strong is a funny word.
