Where to stay in Californie (San Francisco)

Im going to San Francisco for the job and I decided to stay 3 more days to visit and take some vacation.

I was wondering where was the best place to stay? Any hotel that accept bitcoin? Or any bitcoiner to accept a couchsurfer ?

Also what are the top 5 place to go in SF for Bitcoin? I will be there friday to sunday (12-13-14) so I want to optimize my trip!

Not sure if it works in San Francisco but you can try Airbnb app to check if there's anyone in the area accepts or rents out a room at low price and maybe you can negotiate about the Bitcoin part.

San Fran is expensive.  Bring a lot of bitcoin.

Back 15 years ago I had to go to NUMMI and the best rate I could get was $289+tax for a basic business-class hotel room. I hate to imagine what it is like now.

By contrast, the best night's sleep I ever got in a place I was paying for a night was in a shack that cost me $10 in the Smokies at a place called Mountain Momma's. The mice and newts didn't bother me and I slept like a baby. :-)

Just skip any invitations to stay with this guy at his shack, because he will turn you into a Bitcoin hater and a shill within the first few hours of your visit. You chose one of the most expensive holiday destinations for your quick vacation, but it is a nice place for site seeing. Enjoy! ^smile^

Then you can get a decent place for $500 for 3 nights.

Also visit fishermans warf, coit tower, golden gate bridge, lombard street which
are all free and try and catch a giants game the ballpark is beautiful even
if your not a baseball fan.

not sure if it works in San Francisco but if you want to vacation francisco maybe you can try Airbnb app to receive if there are areas that rents out rooms at a lower price and you may be able to negotiate through bitcoin
