Hey guys,

Been wondering how Bitcoin can leverage the Chatbot wave.
As AI and Natural language processing gets increasingly easier, It is important to leverage platforms like facebook, messenger etc to help the average person use Bitcoin.
I have been thinking of a few things that could be developed


1. Bitcoin Transaction bot  - telebit.org
2. Bitcoin RSS / News bot - @bitcoinrssbot on telegram
3. Altcoin news feeds - A  user here has been selling it
4. Bitcoin wiki bot - standard wiki represenation on a chatbot

What do you think are the next frontiers for bitcoins and chat bots ?
What would you pay for in a chat bot ?

i think its a good idea to use bot with bitcoin, maybe make some integration between bot and bitcoin so there are more easy for people in social media to use bitcoin. the payment should be join with the transaction that we always do when we send bitcoin into other wallet.

Yes it is a good idea. But for me instead of bitcoin leveraging the chatbot wave i prefer the chatbots will leverage bitcoin industry. But any of the two bot the chatbot wave and bitcoin will be leveraged. Anyway maybe i just misunderstood your post, but i do hope your suggestions may be developed and bring some positive feedback on bitcoin. The more bitcoin is upgraded the more users will come to use it that will in return bring about a price inflation to bitcoins value due to higher demands.

these are all good but i think a bitcoin tip bot platform is the best thing. like for example how it is on reddit with changetip. it is a bit centralized and bad but the idea of tipping people (preferably outside of /r/bitcoin and bitcoin related subs) is a good way of getting people to use bitcoin.

I like your idea of offering a chatbot that people can choose to use to learn about Bitcoin. However, I don't like the idea of someone starting to use a chatbot to push Bitcoin information onto people who haven't chosen to use it. People would be grateful for a chatbot service they can choose to use, but would hate a chatbot service that forced itself on them.

However, I don't like the idea of someone starting to use a chatbot to push Bitcoin information onto people who haven't chosen to use it. People would be grateful for a chatbot service they can choose to use, but would hate a chatbot service that forced itself on them.

Noone will be forced to use the chatbot.
It will be a basic faq system that the community can initially use for fun, then share within their circle and over time evolve into something they can recommend to newbies.

As for ethereum - I can look into it. That said, all of this is voluntary work. I am struggling to find a job too - so whatever I build will be effort with extreme resource constraints

I'd love to see a Bitcoin transaction Bot, to which you could tweet or message a TXid (either on twitter or telegram) and get back the payment confirmation status and time left to confirm. This way on my phone I'd not have to browse a blockchain block explorer. Would make it a bit easier. I'd also love news bots on telegram as well.

Lets be realistic and honest here for a moment. Bitcoin is a niche 'product' known only by handful of people.
And from what I noticed chatbots are used only by small percent of bitcoin users.
You want to build  successful business idea on providing something that potentially can be used by very few people - it is risky.

in my opinion bitcoin bots are not a need of bitcoin at the present time because it is a need only for buisiness making bitxoin site .

While there are many potential applications for chatbots, the most relevant in crypto are those that are tightly integrated with payment.

It would be cool if a Chatbot could be created to answer newbie questions being repeated over and over again. The most common

questions that need answers is stuff like this :

1. Is Bitcoin legal
2. How can I earn Bitcoins
3. Where can I buy Bitcoin
4. Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme
5. Who is Satoshi Nakamoto

I would rather see a bot answering those questions, than spamming non-Bitcoin related platforms with Bitcoin information and getting

negative responses from the mods and the people using those platforms.

It's true that chat hosts would most likely only use them if they're already somewhat into Bitcoin, but it does give some exposure to people who haven't used Bitcoin that are part of said chat.
I think it's a good idea and would like to see some options on Github.
