Fake Escrow Attemp by Hero Member !!

What happened:: I was trying to sell my bitcoin for moneygram and a scammer set up a fake escrow.I am glad i didn't send the bitcoin.

The scammer used this address 1As24mzicrYQLXDEWKGQ8ZjeyvYhgWLRAx and after searching this address i found that address using by Hero Member The Pharmacist.

got your PM, glovermee tried this in the past as you can see from their trust rating. Not sure if The Pharmacist has anything to do with this as it's pretty easy to just use someone elses address if you assume it will fail anyway.

Its the same signature as used here[1]. I gave some tips on how a scammer could actually improve the message in the other thread and they didnt even bother. Please, if you read this. Verify all messages! Keybase.io makes this very simple.

Yes, thanks for the heads up.  So what's going on here?  Someone claimed I set up a bogus escrow and received some money?  That's my address,  and it's the one in my profile and the one I have registered with the 777 campaign.  I didn't get any payments to that address lately other than campaign payments and bitcoin I bought.

It's too early in the morning for this.  Really.  I haven't even made coffee yet.

Edit:  Oh I see, he didn't send the funds.  The glovermee guy wasn't even on the receiving end of one of my negative trusts.  Not sure why he'd throw my address in there, but nothing surprises me on this forum.

He might have an alt account which could be on your negative trust list.

Scammers usually have more than 1 account.
