How high will ETC go??

I think it's a case of "would the last ETH investor please turn the lights off on the way out?"....

Once we reach parity, those remaining ETH investors who left it right up until the last moment to jump ship will be itching for a profit to reverse their losses. Ironically therefore, they will be the most vocal of ETC's protagonists.

Once we reach parity, the combination of the immutibility-trust-community axis combined with the desire to make huge amounts of money, will push proceedings in favor a pro-ETC environment. As ETC inches forward past parity, the confirmation will be obvious and the levees will break.

This is what happens when you fuck with immutability in favor of rewarding your investors. None of us are in cryptocurrencies to be slaves to special interests, and this will be the chief takeaway from the whole experience that people will look back upon.

Or to put it another way: Don't fuck with decentralization in the middle of a decentralization revolution.

ETC is just a few months old, several coins have traveled down this path before. It's too early to assume the pump will last for ever... time will tell.

Thanks for the input guys. I ve been checking out other threads too and after reading this one, many (the consensus ) seems to be .01 ETC which would be a pretty crazy ride. Ok, time to watch it play out. .00483000 right now. I thought it would dip but so far its staying up there.

It can reach 0.033 just like ETH did before it busted. Anything above that is uncharted territory, but smart contracts technology is very bubbly.

I'm a larger ETC holder and recently closed my short on ETH. With the price drop from BTC and if it continues I am not sure whether or not ETH can drop much more. Seems probable that ETC will blow past it while ETH moves sideways more or less. Of course if Bitcoin picks up I will reassess but now I only hold ETC and BTC and no short positions or anything like that.

More, much more than that. It has a lot of potential, real aim of original ether. One day, not too far, it would reach the current value of ethereum, somewhat like $10-$15.

That was pretty much the point of the post- to get a feel for what everyone thought about a potential ETC price. Whole point of question was to speculate.

In my opinion, it's time to purchase ETC. The price is pretty low once again and now it's gonna rise pretty soon. I'd advise everyone to get as much as ETC possible within the current few hours.

We could probably see a run up to 300 before the big dump.

i have to say sorry for ETH because i just leave him and switch to ETC and don't take it personal because for me profit is more important in altcoins world and i have just buy ETC several days ago currently i wait for next pump

Kind of a pointless comment. You can pick any crypto on Polo or another exchange and say the same thing. Today 24hrs chart says down 13%...weekly chart up how much?? It sits at .004 right now. Was up to .0058 the other day. Not working out well depends on when you got in.

Price seems to be on a downtrend since August 2nd, from 282mil market cap, down to 200. Volume is also drying up.

in my mind, i am hoping that ETC will go up 0.01 like old brothers ETH, but i don't know how long ETC will go up. when i take a look ETC is on 5th position on coinmarket and maybe will up in 2 weeks later. for me, better to trading ETC and ETH and get profit before the rate is up Grin
