With the benefit of hindsight I would say, "Yes. Yes it did."
Bitfinex halted trading (at yet another price drop) so it's not obvious on Bitcoinwisdom but the price is 585 right now.

i just bought back some coins back at $580 that i have sold at $750 in june. i will buy back some more coins if the price happens to drop down further. i think we'll see the price drop to $550 - $560 before we can look upwards again.

Already now bitcoin price has fallen down below 600$.Actually i didnt expected that but still i have taken the opportunity and bought some bitcoins and now my plan is to hold then.I still believe bitcoin price will rise again and soon go over 600USD again.

It's under 600 $ already, big dump as I can notice, big and fast. I don't think its time for panic, month ago btc also was close to 550 and then back to 650 $. We need to wait and see what caused this fall, maybe some big player dump his coins. Or just low demand in this summer days.
I think price will go up until the end of year, everything that happen are just normal bitcoin fluctuations.

A breach in Bitfinex means that the developers of the exchange were not very careful. Let hope the hack doesn't bring bad news for bitcoin. |

yes it is possible nd it will surely happen in couple of days. before halfving bitcoin was at 370$ and i think it will sattle down to 400$ this time

No bitcoin will settle at around $650-$700 I believe, it is hard to think of bitcoin below $500 at the moment, just wait until this little price drop passes and you will see.

I don't think the price will fall below the $400 price point. It did however get dumped to around $465 very shortly, but it recovered again. Right now it's waiting for the impact when Bitfinex will come back up again. That's what everyone is waiting for right now. |

This morning (I'm in Europe) the price seems to have recovered a little and settled just over $550. Do you think it will fall any more or just hold this level for a while before rising again? I'm waiting to buy in but I'm not doing anything until the price has shown which way it's headed...  |

the bitfinex hack has messed up all the equations for bitcoin. the price has crashed now.
but it seems like the drop has stopped at $530-540 and so far it has been stable here. we have to wait for the rest of the world to wake up and see the news and show their reaction first before talking about the future but i don't think there is going to be any more big drops.

That's the way to multiply your bitcoins! I couldn't pull the trigger at $750... I choked. I am only cut out to hodl holding your coins is great of course, but in the currently repetitive market the price goes exactly there where i put my focus on. the lowest i managed to buy was $510 hours ago. i missed the sub $500 prices as it was over $500 again in a matter of seconds. |

The price seems to be recovering. The current price on preev is $545. $650 is a long way to go. |
