Check out blocknet guys, they have a working decentralized exchange, you can trade between several altcoins and BTC at the monent.
Still in beta, but is working.
It will put an end to this shit.

Well let's all hope it is not a easy job just to close the exchange as we all know it has happened before.. it sucks and that worse case but the neg feedback crypto keeps getting about ETH being hacked now this is not good it sets the whole world currency back

its almost impossible for us to know. This can very easily be an inside job as it involved multisig, and there is no way the hacker could have both the keys.

Is security really this far behind that a exchange can't sure customer funds?

This isn't anything new, mtgox was same way and it happened 2 years ago At the time of mtgox bitcoin hadn't seen such a hack before. It was the first big one of its kind and there wasn't even multisig back then. Its really sad to see this after a multisig has come into the market.

Bitfinex is really destroying bitcoin and its users, they should have to shut down now, they are unable to manage the exchange and fail is giving securuty to the money of its users, now we do not need it and have to leave it, we should have to join some other exchange which will be more better in terms of security.

So this is the reason for that sudden drop. Lucky for the hacker(s) they stole a big amount of btc. What the hell with the security? If the security is very weak. Who would want to own btc? They should work on that coz huge amount is at risk if this thing continues. Expect more dropping this week.

I would say expect more drop in the morning , when the Chinese wake up. They tend to affect the prices even more. Right now the wall to trinkle down to 450's is very thin.

Positive. Well, I guess they know that they have to increase security. The other obvious winners are the hackers. Apparently 60million USD was stolen. Let's hope they fix the breach soon.
