Agreed, that would be a great addition to the BTCC series.

My personal opinion is that all manufactors should have such a list and keep it maintained as long as they are producing coins.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.

Do you mean something different from the analyzer Anduck made? It's kinda like a basic uberbills version.

It would be nice if the list was official.  My mistake if it is already.

Yes, Anduck did a great job with that, but it would be nice if the list was official.  My mistake if it is already.

I did ask them via email previously to add an official list or tool to their lookup page here: https://mint.btcc.com/lookup but no news on that.
However Anduck's tool does a good job, I know he's very busy hopefully it will get updated with the latest issue.

I had mine shipped Thursday as well.

Hmmm... a question.

Check this photo posted by BTCC_Official:

Note the "X" at the beginning of the serial number. Every single coin I received begins with a "T". (there was in excess of 10)

Mine also start with T... Wonder if the one in the pic was a prototype private key printout.
If you try banging the public key on the BTCC Mint Lookup page it doesn't find it.
Would be nice to understand the logic behind the leading X, T letters.

Also wonder if the BTCC shot with the 105 means #105 or #5.

Quickly answer you're questions:
- All production versions of the Half Bitcoin have "T" as starting letter of serial number.
- The "X" coins were for testing and photography, and are not funded, and will not be sold or given away.
- the T00105 (aka "T-105") means it has serial number #105 for this Half Bitcoin series.
- all serial numbers under 100 for this Half Bitcoin are being auctioned:

You've all been waiting for it.... It'll finally be here!  It's imminent!
The newest product announcement from BTCC Mint, coming VERY soon...

If only I can tell you more! Smiley

However, I'll be tweeting a teaser tomorrow, for the whole world to see.

Don't miss it! So follow me on twitter to catch the first glimpse:
@bobbyclee

Furthermore, if there's interest from at least 10 of you in this forum, we'll give you an advantage:
We can open the store to all of you a few hours before we announce general availability to the public!

Stay tuned!

thanks,
Bobby

I think you should make a beautiful bitcoin statue that also includes an hologram that hides a private key.

This item could be sold pretty fast, you should post here the design and we can tell you our opinion.
The best way to get a perfect product is to ask the customers for their opinions.
Anyway good luck with the mint.

Thank you Zepher, will do! Completely forgot about my unfortunate country of origin (in regards to bitcoin collectibles at least!)
