If this guy thinks answering when several people have accusations against them shouldn't have to answer because of their level here is moderator then this is a broken system of hierarchy and should be re-evaluated to say the least.
That's ad hominem and irrelevant to the thread.

You would fit right in.
I think it's time to work on better QS-detection software.

LOLwat, the super hack with thousands of coins to burn has been hacked?
That is correct.

this has been told several times, those are not bitfinex funds
Correct. They likely stem from Inputs.io or something prior to that. They are from 2013 (easily traceable via the blockchain). Some people just prefer voicing their ignorance instead of reading.

That in my opinion LAUDA is not bullshit nor A WASTE OF TIME!

Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion and not waste your oh so precious time of probably taking those bitfinex funds on the side too. This is just speculation of course and will be moved to that section soon by a moderator. Roll Eyes
this has been told several times, those are not bitfinex funds
No these are: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1574716

Lauda will be found out so i have no time or anymore of life to waste of them.
Good luck with QS and VOD that's all I have to say to this.

Yes, but those need not be bitfinex funds.

He could transfer the funds to another address before that block, and use the bitfinex hack proceeds to reward the winner of the giveaway which would be his alt?

Unfortunately, the innocent winner of the giveaway knew nothing about that. Sad

Later, he blames it on his luck, and distributes a 50BTC in another thread.

I am just assuming this guy to be a super mastermind, in which case, how do you know he isn't staging this. Grin

I agree. The hack appears genuine, makes sense, logical, and no motives I can find to support staging it. Still there is a possibility. Grin

he actually never stated that he is the bitfinex hacker nor gave a proof except the nickname, he might be getting paid to take the heat and make a noise to attract whole btc community on this giveaway, while the real hackers are slowly moving the stolen funds with very few people noticing

Also judging by the number of people with deep green trust participating in this 'giveaway' apparently feedback means jack shit in the grand scheme of things and everyone claiming to be a saint or a vigilante on this forum is nothing more than a sleazy businessman pulling a long con  Grin

Again, the coins that have been given to others have nothing to do with bitfinex.

In fact, he is relating himself as bitfinex hacker quite often.
He stated it on IRC if I remember this correctly. The giveaway started from there anyways.

False. There's nothing wrong with posting your address in that thread, that does not make you any less trustworthy than you already are. It comes down to what one would do in the case that they won and it was proven to be stolen money.

At least the now locked thread made it possible to see what the Bitcoin community looks like from inside out  Wink
We locked it because OP was hacked and it was being spammed by beggars that kept creating new accounts.

You'd need to do a lot more if you want to avoid getting arrested (in the case that they're stolen).

So Lauda, you took 1 btc without any problem... right ?
Why would there be a problem? Everyone who was on IRC at that time and had posted an address had received 1 BTC (excluding Mitchell, he got 2 BTC - I guess because he was the first to respond).

I didn't say that is a problem, you only received part of stolen bitcoins from probably TF (it's not a problem).

I agree. Getting 1kBTC in possibly stolen money will cause a lot of sleepless nights, figuring out what to do with it, and hopefully getting some legitimate profit out of it. Edit: finders fee, reward, or hey, it may not (all) be stolen after all. Either way, I see no harm in joining this.
Although I can dream about having that kind of money, I'm mainly just curious what happens. Seeing 1kBTC burn would be an amazing development too.

What makes you say that it was stolen? It's also possible that they're part of some personal stash. There isn't conclusive evidence at the moment because Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous. I actually didn't even post my vanity address, yet they decided to send the funds there.

What are you talking about? There is no "legitimate profit" from stolen money. There's only legitimate jail time.
