I've now seen some ways to buy bitcoins with credit cards, but is there any conceivable way to buy with an amazon account?

Do you mean with Amazon gift cards, or an Amazon payment account?

I have an amazon account with attached credit cards, I think I can create a payment account. So I would likely be going that route.
