πάντως δεν μου ακούγετε άσχημη ιδέα αυτή η αποζημίωση με το νέο token που θα διαπραγματεύετε ελεύθερα στην αγορά συν ότι θα  μπορείς να το ανταλλάξεις με μετοχές της εταιρείας.

24 ώρες μετά την ανακοίνωση του πλάνου επαναλειτουργίας του και σχεδόν μια βδομάδα μετά την παραβίαση των server του από hacker με αποτέλεσμα την απώλεια χιλιάδων Bitcoin το ανταλλακτήριο Bitfinex ανοίγει ξανά τις "πόρτες" του.

Οι πελάτες του ανταλλακτηρίου τις πρώτες αυτές ώρες επαναλειτουργίας θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να δούνε μόνο την κατάσταση των καταθέσεων του. Όπως και είχε ανακοινωθεί έχει ήδη γίνει κούρεμα σε αυτές τις καταθέσεις τις τάξης του 36.067% ενώ το ποσό αυτό πιστώθηκε στα νέα token BFX με αξία 1$ το καθένα.

Το ανταλλακτήριο θα ενεργοποιήσει σταδιακά όλες τις λειτουργίες του μέσα στις επόμενες μέρες ενώ άμεσα θα ξεκινήσει και το ελεύθερο trading για το νέο BFX token.

We are beginning the process of bringing the platform online in a controlled and secure way. Currently the site is available on a read-only basis as we continue to work towards enabling full functionality. This means that users will be able to log into their accounts but trading, depositing, and withdrawing will remain disabled at this time.

Please be aware of the following changes required by the ongoing platform recovery:
Users will be required to reset their password.
Users will be required to reset their 2FA, if applicable.
Clef has been disabled for all accounts. We have reset our security keys with Clef, requiring users to re-enroll.
All API keys have been revoked. The creation of new API keys will be re-enabled within the next 48 hours.
Please take this time to log in and review your account and balances, taking note of the adjustments caused by the closing of open margin positions and the application of the Extraordinary Loss Adjustment. The loss adjustment is represented by your balance in “BFX” tokens which are priced at 1.00 USD until we are able to allow trading of that token, likely within the next week. The trading of BFX tokens may be restricted for US customers.
Full platform functionality will come online in progressive steps in the coming days. Withdrawing, depositing and exchange trading will come online first, with margin trading (for non-US customers) to resume sometime after that. Further announcements will be made when the schedule for turning on those features is finalized. Once again, we thank you for your patience.

μακαρι να ειχαμε μια τετοια λυση και στο mtgox. ακομα και ενα 50% κουρεμα θα ηταν θαυμα!
τοσα χρονια μας ταλαιπωρουν. μπραβο στο bitfinex για την τοσο γρηγορη λυση!

οι χαμένες καταθέσεις θα μετατραπούν στα νέα αυτά token η σε μετοχές της εταιρείας αν το θελήσει κάποιος. Δεν το βλέπω άσχημη σαν λύση. Από την άλλη πολλοί λένε ότι δεν θα μπορέσει να περάσει νομικά για τους αμερικάνους πολίτες.

Από ώρα σε ώρα θα μπορεί οποιος θέλει να βγάλει όσα Bitcoin του έχουν μείνει από το ανταλλακτήριο ενώ μέχρι αύριο θα ενεργοποιηθεί ξανά και το trading.

O υποτιθέμενος hacker του Bitfinex που εμφανίστηκε στο reddit λίγες μέρες μετά το hack και μοίραζε σε λοταρία 1000btc τελικά ήταν μια εντυπωσιακή πρόταση γάμου.

τελικά με το bitfinex από τι φάινεται έκαναν σωστή επιλογή με την λύση που έδωσαν Τα token που έδωσαν πλέον είναι στο 60% σε αξία προς το δολάριο ενώ πριν λίγες μέρες ανακοίνωσε το ανταλλακτήριο ότι έδωσε και μέρισμα στους πελάτες που υπέστησαν το κούρεμα.
Μόνοι άτυχοι οι αμερικάνοι πολίτες που σε αυτούς υπάρχει άλλο καθεστώς. Δεν το γνωρίζω.
Πάντως το ανταλλακτήριο έχει πάθει ζημιά και έχει μειωθεί η κίνηση του στο 1/4 από τι ήταν πριν το hacking.

πάντως κάτι σε απελπισία βγάζει η όλη είδηση. ειδικά αν ισχύουν και τα περί bounty ακόμα και στον hacker και σε Monero  μάλιστα αν θέλει!
