Bitstamp.net if you are in Europe is one of the best sites you can use to sell your BTC for fiat (USD,EURO) they take only 0.5% fee and they directly send the money to your account (SEPA transaction) with no identity confirmation, or document approval or all that shit , i did try it many times and it works for fine , although you have to be careful about the amount of money you are trying to send to your account , because than you will have to justify it to your government (Taxes and shit).

Possibly would have been better to delay registering with coinbase if you needed to know they could be trusted. I don't know if I'd go ahead and do it if I wasn't absolutely sure, but then I'm not you, so your call. Just another opinion.
