There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I think actual drama is yet to start when bitfinex will open up their trading live again because price got dumped after they got hacked and they are one of the largest bitcoin exchanger. However it seems there are many whales out their who don't like to miss the oppurtunity of grabbing cheap bitcoins.

Just wait and see. Your curiousity will just leads for many speculations even with no proper basis.

Go with the flow and ready your extra ammo. Everything is unexpected in bitcoin.

just wait until this drama that bitfinex hack has created, passes and then lets talk about the $700 again. but it is possible to reach that price again. remember that price was stable at 640-660 for a long time and now that it has gone down whales have a lot more bitcoin accumulated to pump the price with.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
