World Politics is a gamed played by the powerful and the most powerful dictates the tune.

Terrorism is just a means of acquiring more power.

Any country use what they have, political or economic power, or even military if needed, in order to achieve their short or long term goals.
USa is perfect example, but also china, Russia and other ''big'' countries.
They usually don't use terrorist attacks or groups directly but in more smart way.
they allow other terrorist groups to do their activity without stopping them, don't share info with others, create atmosphere and situations which helps terrorist to radicalize many people etc.
Do you remember war in Afghanistan in late 70's and beginning of 80's?
Russia tried to military and politically help local communist government and uSa sponsored local terrorist groups, because the had common enemy.
Later, this terrorist group used this military training and weapons against their former sponsor, America.

Yes, it's ugly truth and reality of the world we live.
We had also very good and amazing people around us, like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and many others, idealists who tried to change the world.
You know what happened with them, right?
They was killed.
So, there is always hope that future will be better and that people will change, but it will not happen overnight.
After all, politicians are people like most of us, selfish, greedy for power, influence etc.
As someone said, if you want to change the world, start from yourself.

Yes and no... America seems to do more terrorism with its drone strikes than ISIS, but it rarely gets mentioned that 90% of drone strike deaths are civilians...

People have always killed each other, especially when religion is involved...

I think its mostly a red herring to draw the attention away from what was beginning to be a revolution in America against the wealthy 1%... which I suppose has been a major issue throughout history as well

I believe that politics sometimes quite heavily regulates the public. The government can not protect everyone individually . That is why each solution has its own political opponents and be committed . For some, another law will collapse , and for someone to rescue .

I think terrorism has influence but it's not their agenda. Terrorism is an underpaid military force. They have additional cost: they create bad media attention, they are uncontrollable and they can turn their guns towards you. The agenda of a politician is to maximize profit, frequently over national security.

Terrorism has a big effect on how people think and hate. So of course. Which leads to false flag events. It is used to manipulate people. The media also. Look at black people, puppet master paint certain police shooting black criminals in a way that they don't focus on the negative parts of the criminals. They just show their kids, and say black man shot. This makes black people really angry from a story that other wise would probably not be national news. It's all about controlling people and people don't even realized that they are being controlled.

Thats the kind of world we have today. It is very possible that politics and terrorism are linked to each other. A politician can afford to pay a group of terrorist to do what they wanted to. They dont even care if there are innocents that will be killed along the way, the only thing they care about is their goal and what they want.
