The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

This value is still in calculation. But we understand, that all of the investments must be split in 2 parts:
1) development and related activities.
2) insurance fund.

Second "insurance fund" part will be split in another 2 parts:
1) Cold storage part, needed for guarantee insurance payments and bonds related coupon.
2) Investment part managed by DAO and used for investments. Any extra income will stay at the fund or distributed to the token holders depending on their votes.

Pardon my ignorance, so for example, if Bitfinex was using Inchain, and after that hack, wouldn't the Inchain bonds be devalued drastically for the investors, assuming Inchain is a token we buy into in the ICO.

I hope I understood your question correctly.

Inchain emits bonds that are linked to the exact insurance policy. So if there are the insurance policy and bonds linked to it, for both Bitfinex and Coinbase and if Bitfinex hacked then only Bitfinex linked bonds may be devalued. Because Coinbase is OK.

Inchain tokens are like DAO tokens. These tokens do not participate directly in insurances and bonds. Inchain tokens allow token holders to participate in the management of Inchian insurance fund investment policy and get extra income from it.
