I can't of any solutions or ideas but I advice you one thing, do anything you can but stay away from gambling. You can't count on your luck because it's too risky and the chance of losing all your 3btc is almost 100%. So just don't think of gambling if you need to earn more seriously.
Its a good advice to give that stay away from gambling but its his money he can use it anywhere he wants and if he is addicted to gambling then he will surely use those 3 btc in gambling. I don't recommend putting your money into a casino/gambling either. It's a waste of time and resources. If you want to make it grow find a good altcoin to invest in or explore the opportunities of investing. There are a lot of good investment (startups) these days. Altcoin with an higher volume can be a good choice for making an investment and over a period of time you can earn good profits from it and it will also take the number of your coins to higher level. you are right, investing in altcoins is better when they have huge volume so there are more chances to make money |

There are some thing that you are able to buy with 3 whole Bitcoin but I would not waist them because you can even make more money with them. Hold on to them and wait for the price to rise so that you can sell them and buy more with the profit that you have made. |

I would advise you not to take those 3 bitcoins. If it would be that easy to make money with bitcoins, just think how many millionaires we would have on this board. But I am sure their number here is not really big. If your friend wants to invest, he should do it himself. |

3 bitcoin cannot be considered as a small amount and you can make really big profits from it if you invest them in altcoin trading and over a period of time you can even double them. |

Thats not true that he cannot do a lot with 3 bitcoins because i think 3 bitcoins can be considered as a good capital for an investment, for trading bitcoins or alt coins 3 bitcoins are a great capital to start which can generate great profits for someone on daily or weekly basis. |

don't keep you bitcoin still as holding better you buy billary coins in trading site because after November it's price will rise 3 fold or more so there is chances of make your 3 bitcoin to 7 8 bitcoin. It's of no risk because that coins price will definitely increase.

Thats not true that he cannot do a lot with 3 bitcoins because i think 3 bitcoins can be considered as a good capital for an investment, for trading bitcoins or alt coins 3 bitcoins are a great capital to start which can generate great profits for someone on daily or weekly basis. Exactly, 3 btc is an descent capital to invest in altcoin trading as it will allow you to make good profits on regular basis and you can expect high profits with every small fluctuations. |

3 Bitcoins are very decent sum. You can start trading with it, but I would recommend smaller sum to start with, you can buy some altcoins, you can save some for rainy days and for the end you can buy something that you want for a long time. Or you can lend it to someone and earn interest.

Lending wont be a good option IMO,, because there is a scam accusation section on this forum where you can find a lot of threads against the people who have taken loans but never repaid so it would rather be better to stick to altcoin trading for earning some profits gradually then putting all the money under risk at once. |

I think there is other way to make a good profit with 3 btc but not in gambling you can use it to start a good business online a small business affiliate marketting you can use that amount for promotion domain and hosting. . |
