Hi,

I am only running bitcoin-miner.exe from Ufasoft.

After my last AVG update I keep on get a waring that the file bitcoin-miner.exe contain a Trojan horse called Agent3.LWC - is this a FakeAlert or aq serious threat?

Thank you,

Hamburger

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

If your sure it's the one from Ufasoft, it's a false positive.

Correct. last version of bitcoin-miner.exe is infected with Trojan!
Previous version was like 500kb lighter and had no viruses.

Ufasoft please fix it and don't let it be again.

lol. This is the reason I've registered.
Everyone make mistakes. Ufasoft as well.

I don't need anyone's appreciation. Just want this file to be safe.
It happened when bitcoin-miner.exe was packed in 7z with password.

Don't be afraid so much. Noobs won't hurt you mister Modarator.
