Dissapointment for Srikanth against the chinese player Lin Dan. Both played extremely good badminton , the third set was tight but then Dan took it at last .
Where as on other hand , Sindhu moves into the semis , and I think she will win here easily .

.
.BIG WINNER!.

PV Sindhu wins this match with superb performance 21-19, 21-10 and into the women’s singles Final. This will be the first time Indian any female players enter into final in badminton Olympics.

I mus say this year olympic really full with surprise and interesting result, China lost all the medal in women single, China also lost all the medal in women double, in mixed doubles china only got bronze, its extraordinary because usually china dominate the medal, this is indicate that badminton is not dominated by one country anymore

now I am waiting for the final men double, i think China can win this game and gain some medal and i still cant believe sindhu can defeat okuhara, it will be interested to watch Marin vs sindhu

few years ago korean, indonesia, or malaysia players always be in trouble if they were met the players from China and currently players from india and spain have good chance to get gold medal and this is could be good opportunity to other players to prove that China is not too strong any longer however Nozomi Okuhara from Japan has got bronze medal now

It's gonna be Lee Chong Wei vs Chen Long in men single final  Grin
Chong Wei have finally beat Lin Dan in olympic game. The pressure are back to his China teammate , Chen Long. But i think Chong Wei are more likely to win because this might his last olympic game.

While i typing this , Carolina Marin have already won the final match. PV Sindhu give his best for all the indians but the shoot from Marin are just too powerful. At least Sindhu have the silver medal and she still young , there gonna be lot of journey after this.

So I agree LEE Chong Wei of Malaysia will get gold medal.

Lee Chong-Wei at 1.40 and yes he favored to win the final match against Chen Long from China. China domination has been ended recently. This means badminton becomes more popular from time to time. Salute for Carolina Marin from Spain who won the gold medal from woman single.

Unfortunately, Indian girl Sindhu lost the match in finals and got a silver medal in woman singles. The match was a superb, it last for almost 90 minutes.  Indian girl won the first set but in the second and third set she gave a good fight but world number one player Carolina Marin won the last two sets. It is good sign for all Indian badminton players and hopefully they will do better in next Olympics.

will be an interesting game, exciting and tight, between number one world rank, and second placed rank
Among young players with players who have a lot of experience
remains to be seen where the superior player experience, or players who are physically younger and more powerful

Yes, China has lost women singles medal also and now men's individual medal. In this Olympics, they didn't do that great in badminton. But in this final Lee Chong-Wei has put a lot of efforts to beat chain.

This match was not so exciting. Indian player was ranked 10th rank before this match, and she was playing against the world 2 but she didn't give up the match so easily. India should be very happy for getting silver medal.

I think that Chen Long can beat Lee Chong Wei, as he is younger. With his previous defeats handed to him by Lee Chong Wei, he'll practice harder and try to counter his style. It should be a very interesting match, but hard to bet on.

I think the bronze medal will be easier to bet on, my prediction is that Lin Dan will win for sure.

Head to head statistics shows that both players has equal chance to win the gold medal. Lee Chong Wei only leading 1 match against Chen Long (12-13) but Chong Wei won the last 4 matches against Chen Long.
I would say, there is no favorite in this match. It would be tight game maybe the match will be ended with 3sets.
