Its a fantastic thread, I ever start a similar thread, but the feedback is too little, I am a badminton, its excited to see the badminton match in olympic, for this competition its going to be difficult for indonesia to achieve medal, the biggest chance is from mixed double, hopefully either Praveen debby or Tantowi/Natsir can win the gold medal

We also have chance om Men Double with Muhammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan. Even though their records this year is not so good, but I think they will be more motivated to play on this Olympics game.
Indonesia is so bad on Man Single, Woman Single and Woman Double. I miss the time when Indonesia dominating all categories long time ago

I dont think Indonesian players can dominate this year, only few good players have the chance to get gold medal especially from Men Double (Ahsan-Hendra) and Mixed Double (Butet-Tantowi). But based on their performances this year, it will be very hard for them to compete. Their performances are dropping down recently, but I hope they can do their best for Indonesia.

because is woman double and Man single can not be expected to win a gold medal,
the bronze medal was already quite an accomplishment which is great for Man single and Woman double
