The Block reward drop and dificulty raise didnt occured other coins,so mining them could be more productive!!?
I need some oppinions in profitability of mining other coins with sha256

Is annybody using "old" miners in other coins mining?

You can mine any other SHA256 coins but the profitability will be the same or lower. Everybody else is pretty much thinking the same as you.

If you have any decent amount of hashrate, and you join a pool, you'll be giving coins away!
I tried one coin and gave away 40% of what I mined (way more than the rest of the network combined) because of shares and fees.
If you do it, do it solo! That way, when you drive the difficulty up and the value down, you have something to show for it. Wink

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

Check out Myriad or Digibyte.

Both seem to receive regular pumps and both have a strong development team behind them,

If you just plan to mine and dump though, your better off turning off your miners or mining Bitcoin, depending on
your electricity cost.
