I think that it was just a free DDoSer services test. They will back soon, when attackers will be paid for the real attack. So, switching to solo or p2pool is recommended as soon as possible, for the next few days.

Notroll is accepting shares, but website is still down.
Wonder what will this do to the price.

Tenner says Knowledgeable got pissed off when we slagged him for his 51% thread and thus DDOS'd everything.

Litecoin is the way forward. Dont go near it yet though, i want it all for me Wink

I also had the same thought. There seems to be a loit of animosity to litecoin, which has just made me even more interested in litecoin now.

So this is the fresh team for DDoS?

At the risk of stating the obvious peer2peer is inherently DDOS resistant. The problem is mining pools.

Solo mine or use p2pool and you don't have to spend a second worrying about DDOS attacks. Or configure a failover to p2pool or solo mining if you must use a mining pool.

I have a feeling it is someone with a pool attacking these larger pools to get more for themselves.  Just a guess...

Motherfucker.  Now all my pools, including fail overs are down.  When are the big operators going to get some decent DDOS protection?

I am a trusted trader!  Ask Inaba, Luo Demin, Vanderbleek, Sannyasi, Episking, Miner99er, Isepick, Amazingrando, Cablez, ColdHardMetal, Dextryn, MB300sd, Robocoder, gnar1ta$ and many others!

DDOS protection costs a lot. Only biggest BTC pools can afford it.
