What are the Odds.

So, I've been wondering recently, how and why people choose which game to play. Is it because of the higher chances of winning?Or is it based on their particular skill/preference? Bigger payout? Which game do you prefer? I'm curious. I mainly play Dice myself and I'm thinking of playing a new game but don't have much idea about the others. Tell me.

I think that sports betting gives you the most odds to win because if you know the teams and how they play and what quality are they, you van easily win. It is also the easiest kind of gambling to find a loophole in, if you know someone that knows the results ahead on the rigged game. Other games such as dice or other depend on a random generator and does not offer you much odds on winnings.
Blackjack is probably on number 2 because you need to know to play and you control part of the game. You could also count cards if you know how to.

when it comes to -EV games usually people play what they enjoy the most , otherwise we would see people leaving roulette and playing dice for example
it seems that a lot of people doesn't care about the odds , they just want to enjoy the stay

Dice has the highest odds if you're doing pure luck but sports betting offers better odds if you know about the teams. Then, it would be blackjack, roulette, slots, and then lotteries. Poker should also be on the poll.

For highest odd and bigger payout (it depends on winning chances you set) , i will stick on dice you can set your winning chances for minimize your rick (and exactly , whatever winning chances you set it's ended to luck though). I also like sportsbetting , for the odds you can't set but you can bet to your favourite team and make fun while you watching the match it's can easily identify which team will win on match for seeing the odds table.
I will pick dice and sportsbetting , for lottery and others meh , your winning chances is too low for win.

Sport betting sure have something better chance to win but of course if you can gather good information about each game may be you can sure win but doesnt it have the same result if you bet on dice with a lower odds? The payout will be the same though and you dont even have to wait for a long time to get your result

I like sports and think you can gain knowledge and get an edge, especially
compared to luck like rolling dice or flipping coins.

Also if you narrow sports down to certain teams or small conferences you can
really gain an edge becoming an expert in the area.

I play dice only when I'm bored and never actually tried to make a profit from this game but also didn't lose much. I like sports betting, particularly cricket matches betting and so for my guesses quite good and made a decent money from it. But I never bet more on any single matches, always go with low bets.

Poker and sports betting give you the choice to make the bet or not.  So that means you can choose to make it if you think you have an edge or avoid it if you think you don't.  So in short if you know what you're doing in poker and/or sports betting, you can be a consistent winner.

I prefer on sports betting that other casino games. Because they have many options to bet like handicap, over/under and many else and also it's not provably fair.

I was close to vote for poker, but after few losses this week I think sports are much easier sometimes.
Good with sports is that you choose odds by yourself, before game start you know your chances.
With poker two ace's can mean high odds for winning, but I lost so many times with two ace's in my hand, that I don't believe there is strong hand in poker, only after river we can say what we have in hands.
Anyway poker and sports are my favorites for making profit, and both games have good odds for winning. Of course be careful when choosing hand/match for betting all in.

My vote goes for sports betting because it's much easier to know when to bet on teams/player that will actually win the match. I was gonna vote for plinko but there's no option in the poll OP should add that one.

Knowledge-based gambling is your best bet.  So that narrows it down immediately to

• Bitcoin Internet Poker, where you are playing against other players, you can determine your bets after evaluating your cards (but not your opponent's cards), and the rake is very low
• Sports Betting, where you can determine where to place your bets
• Blackjack, where you are playing against the house, but you have some potential to assess your advantage (based on dead cards) prior to placing your bet

In my opinion, Bitcoin Internet Poker and Sports Betting are tied for best, and Blackjack is after that.  Everything else is purely for entertainment.  Lottery has the worst odds, but gives some people a reason to get up in the morning.

It depends on thr purpose of your gambling if you are playing for profit then the player will find an easier game to win such as dice game with 50:50 chance or sport betting, and some player like the group gambling so they play crap or poker game but for me i like to play poker because i find its fun and it needs skill to win the game

Not all people are the same they are not looking for odds i think they are just changing there game habbit because sometimes if you are gamble too long in that game its boring.. so changing your game is a good idea to enjoy again..

1. sports betting never gives you the highest odds atleast on pre-live betting because  sports betting sites are made like that. they never give you high odds  for the selected team that is most capable to win.
2. i believe that dice offers much better odds than sports betting. btw,  @op, winning in a dice game is not so easy because higher the odds, lesser is the chance to win.

I agree with you. Sports betting is the best play you can try. Its easy to predict other than any games. All you have to do is check players or teams background so you have a knowledge which team is worth betting for. But there are no guarantee you can always win. This is still gambling. Win or go home.
