May be some insiders/staff of bitfinex who short before bitfinex release notice about hack and other traders who first see that notice immediately shorted more bitcoin to buy cheap coins back when that news will be spread to mass.

You can't short 3 days before bitfinex release notice if you are not the guy who hacked it nor the guy in the ceo-team member
