There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What would you offer for a 7970 that hashes at 670MH/s in Linux with < 1% HW errors and rejects combined, but has some artifacting issues in Windows 7?

I have an HIS 6950 2gb IceQ tested for only a week mining.  Does 385mh/s @ 925 core, 800 mem, stock volts.  $175 shipped.
