Nope. Hard to enter as a new lender though, as you won't get many requests usually. Expect to see a lot of FullMember and under applying for a loan with their account as collateral

taking a break - expect delayed responses

There's always room for a new player in the lending field but the competition is very stiff as you compete with those who declares they are into Lending and also those who have extra or spare coins and suddenly funds those who posts a loan request. I also notice the the interest is not the question, its who will fund and what are the terms like how long and collateral involve.

You can do it successfully from time to time just by watching the lending thread and trying to get your offer in before the big boys swoop in.  I've done it a couple of times.  You will probably already know this, but always get collateral.  You just never know who is out to scam you, and it could be a green-trusted legendary member.  Accounts change hands on this forum all the time, and sometimes even a signed message doesn't help, because private keys get included in the sale.

Good luck.  Lending is one of the ways you can make money on this forum, but it's way too stressful for me.

the time is always exist in bitcoin industry. you can start your lending business here any time. but you may face some difficulties to gain your place and reputation here as there are already a lot of trusted lenders working around here.
but if you came up with unique features then people may get attract to you. for example if you cast low interest or you offer interest free loan for a limited time.

Its never too late.

If you offer something other lenders doesn't your service might take off very well.

but it's way too stressful for me.

Yep it's a bite..

Spending all that time babysitting the lending section, reviewing peoples accounts, researching and trying to made a decision fast before another lender takes em.. It's work..
