Actually dude, as a trader you don't need to ask that question, as long as you are ready to loose your money in trading you can start anytime. Because being a trader is really a risk taker. Positively the trader's is totally mindset to win the game and they never look how much money they will loose but they always look to win the game.

You could lose and win but it's important that every time you lose you must take a break and see what happens. You have to reflect with what made your decisions wrong and eventually do improve your method. It's not by emotion but by your mind, be smart all the time as you are playing with the real market situation here. Being knowledgeable on the particular asset you are trading would certainly help as that is required.
