All processing fees now 0.99% including settlement in any local currency we support.

Quote
“We chose to celebrate this milestone by rewarding all merchants, large and small, with an across-the-board fee reduction, instead of offering tiered pricing which rewards only the largest merchants,” says Tony Gallippi, co-founder and CEO of BitPay. “We want our merchants to use this fee reduction to offer discounts and incentives to their customers for paying with bitcoin.”

This is a great move! Cheers

Great move, congratulations on the success, BitPay! :-)

So, how about accepting Bitcoin (-donations) and receiving Euros via SEPA banktransfer?
0.99% fee, and according to https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-direct-deposit thats it?

Conversion and Settlement is offered for no additional charge.

Minimum Settlement 20 EUR

Payments in Euros are only available to bank accounts in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Finland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
If I interpret that right - awesome!

Is there an option to automatically do a bank transfer whenever 20 Euro are reached?

Exciting!

Excellent news! Now merchants should have even bigger incentive to take BTC instead of CC.

I was wondering, have you been thinking about offering both "bitcoin payment" and "credit card payment" ? Of course, with a much higher fee on credit cards (I guess you wouldn't be able to keep them low).

You've probably thought about it and ruled out the idea. Just a thought.

So just to clarify: All fees are now 0.99% correct? Because before there was extra fees for settlement outside the US (3.5% for Canada if I remember)
